Product – 70mm white on white PVCu casement windows 

Kingfisher was asked to supply and install windows for a junior school. This project demanded particular attention to aesthetic considerations, given the Gothic style of existing stone window arches.

Our designs not only took the overall look of the building into account, but also the extra safety features desirable in window fastenings for an environment used by children. To this end, restricted hinges were fitted on all openers, and the toughened ‘K’ glass treated with a bronze tint to cut out glare from the sun.

Further glass ventilators were included to ensure compliance with building regulations. The result was an enhancement of the appearance of the building and a safe and modern working environment for both teachers and pupils.
